Yup, what she said. Barring any trouble getting our hands on some transportation, that is. :dh

Perhaps I'm just expressing my own concern about it.

We had fun at Chang's. Japoro, myself, Fetish4minx, Zerospace, 4_Degree, and Yoshito all showed up and we had some laughs over the wonderful Chinese Italian "fusion" food. Japoro's food was so spicy we thought he was going to burst into flames. :saiyan

Fetish was totally unprepared for the event and brought a laundry basket of cels /wah

After a while they stopped filling our water and the waitstaff started giving us the evil eye to leave :emb

Zero and 4th had to catch a ride so the remaining crew went to Borders for some manga hunting.

So anyhoo, looking forward to doing that again. Zerospace has the pictures and will be handling the posting of those when they get back from their trip.

Yeah it was fun. Good thing Chang's was so busy, those other empty tables must have been reserved for some other group. HAHAHA

Maybe next time we can convince Zero and 4_Degree to live in the area. ;)

Oh and beware of me and water. Decided that Japoro needed a cooling off before his food got there. >.<

Hope to see the end result of that cel you guys had in the minivan. =P

Yoshito...
don't think I didn't catch that *minivan* reference! :tongue

It's an SUV (all-in-one).

Really you guys...I show you my one weakness and you jump all over it! :bawl

However, I too, had a WONDERFUL time! Such a pleasure meeting you guys!

Zerospace and 4 degrees...nice to put a face to the friends!--can't wait to see the pics!

Yoshito...pleasure to meet you for the first time...I'm going to have to keep an eye out for you on the forum now that I *know* you! LOL! (oh, and I finished CHOBITS last night...WOW OH WOW! LOOOOVed it!)

Japoro...our own little speed demon in his red rocket GT! Very sweet car! This is our second time to get together with you...and I'm hoping for many more! You're a blast to spend time with!

Thank you everyone for bringing and sharing your cels! So very exciting for me to see such AMAZING pieces in person! Sorry I couldnt' share more of mine...I'm overdue for a trip to the store to pic up some more cel books. I really need to limit myself (something I obviously have a hard time with...just check out what I had for desert! LOL).

Pleasure all around!

Well I couldn't let Japoro take all the heat himself. ;)

You know, I'll never look at Chobits the same again after seeing what Chii was rubbing up against. @.@ Glad you liked the ending though, rather interesting story.

Japoro's GT is faaast, couldn't even try to catch up with him and he probably wasn't even trying. T_T

Or tea. ;)

As a whole, only the third time I've met people I only interact with via the 'net. I had a great time talking about anime and manga. Also, *ahemcoffetableitems* felt like I've known you guys for a long time. Thanks for setting all this up Japoro, without you we would have all just sat in the entrance to P.F. Changs. =P Still disturbing to me that the "Entrance Bunnies" didn't have a clue to who you guys were, nor even bothered to show me to the table (only pointed the table out like you guys were the plague or something).

Thanks all for coming, especially to 4_degree and zerospace for taking time from their trip out west to join in. :) Great to see what other people collect, as we all have slightly different tastes in cels and series. And just the general camaraderie that comes from meeting people face to face, instead just on online name, can be quite interesting and make for some memories. The sight of Fetish sorting through large stacks of cels in the back of her miniv...:wack... SUV, Yoshito and the infamous water glass incident and many other little events make these thing memorable.

Was quite good though, after I lost the feeling in my tongue. :P

Heh, the Sacramento are is something like 4500ft lower than Reno. Got to have a little fun with the extra hp that you get with the drop in elevation. :dgrin

It's too bad I couldn't make it :( But I had work that day, and that same day my car's alternator went out, so I had to beg a ride to work as it was.

You guys should have swooped in on the casino ( less than 5 minutes from the restaurant ). I could have helped ya win some money to spend on more cels ^_~x

Ahh - well, 4D and I are back from our trip - we'll be posting photos as soon as 4D develops the film :D It was awesome to meet you guys - and perhaps next year we'll see some of you again if we make it to Anime Expo out there on the left coast. I gotta say, it's nice to be back on the east coast where we actually have weather! :P But now I must adjust to east coast time again. My body's still 3 hours behind... :P

Ugh - 5.5 hours on a plane really stinks & airport security in Oakland yesterday morning was AWFUL!!! We stood in line for at least 30-40 min. Yuck. :P

Anyway - we'll do our best to get the photos posted in the next day or two! :D

30-40 minutes?!?

You got L-U-C-K-Y.

It really is usually an hour or more.

Zero...I hope you remembered to pack you purse items in your bag!

4D...I'm really looking forward to seeing the pics! :) (god, I hope I don't look fat...pity you can't photoshop me! But then...I guess that's a fair trade for that *wall of chocolate* desert!)

Japoro...honestly! EVERYONE should have a good *graphic novel*. It's essential to a person's overall well-being. but...I have a hunch you're aware of that.

Yoshito...didn't realize that was your first social online-only gathering! WELCOME! But you didn't know some of us can actually be MORE fun in person! And I didn't even get to drinking the al-kee-hol! :dgrin

later, all!
