EXPO Moved?
I clicked on the wrong link in my favorites folder and ended up at the Anime Expo site. I noticed that it's been moved for 2007??? Long Beach?

They announced that back in July. The Anaheim Con Center is hosting another function that week, so the Expo was moved to Long Beach. They held it there in LB back in 2002, and it SUCKED! Those who want to go had better register now. From what they told us in July, only a certain number of passes will be given out to avoid overcrowding(LB center is a smaller venue). I doubt I'll be going this year, what with classes and all.

Yes, The Anaheim convention center is booked for the Shriner's National Convention so they had to either change the date or go back to Long Beach for this year.
I'll most likely just go for the dealer room and any cel gatherings but commute from home (I'm an hour away) instead of get a hotel down there unless they come up with a killer guest list.
I will save the funds for Comic-con in San Diego July 25th-29th.

Yes, Long Beach is correct. It seems that every 4 years or so, the Shriners have Anaheim booked. The Long Beach Convention Center is a much smaller venue as all have remarked already, so if you want to go, I would book now. They do not have the capacity to hold the crowds that have been at the previous two AX's.

Huh.
I LOVED Long Beach, but the last time I went to AX there, there were many, many fewer people than we've seen in recent years and there were nasty lines as it was.
*sigh*
Guess everyone will have to come to Denver in September, instead!!
No?
Oh well.

But . . . but . . . I had made such plans for this year!
Okay, I spent about 15 minutes making a few plans in August with my ex-roomie. As kymaera can vouch, we're both a little scatter-brained when it comes to planning things out in advance.
But! We'll probably still be going, since her host sisters from Finland will be in the US this summer. Gotta entertain them somehow. I'll have to talk with her and see.

What is Granted it?
The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

So smaller venue...does that also mean fewer dealers?
On a side note...at least the NDK in Denver next year is back in Sept. I was furious when they moved it to October this year. Totally threw me off with my work schedule.
