Is anyone going to Anime Central (ACEN) 2009?

Venturing out into the sunlight? Planning on meeting up with other cel addicts? Post convention or gathering info here.

Me too, though I'd love to visit Chicago one day. ^^

I'm hoping to make it to a con somewhere this year. :emb

Me neither. I'm a con-virgin.

I missed Anime Boston last year because it was Easter weekend, and I had prior obligations, and I just missed Anime Kaiju in November because I was sick. >_< AB is memorial day weekend this year, so the weather should be warm, I have no prior holiday obligations, and I'm usually not sick that time of year, so I'm sure I'll make it for '09! I'm also hoping to get my butt to AX this year, but I'll have to see how summer classes go. :?

Any cons in your area?

So when is it? I know I could do a search but . . .

lcatino and Belldandy16, you should really go to a con. They are so much fun. I've been going 9 years now. 8O I frequent AWA in Atlanta, A-kon in Dallas and AX in LA but I'm always open for other cons if the guest list looks interesting and/or my schedule permits. Just make sure you stick to a budget or bad things could happen. X|

AWA seems fun, and might be easier for me to get to. I'll check into it. Thanks! :D

I am about a 2-1/2 hour drive away. I usually only go
to AX, but this year I am going to AX and Comic-con.
Maybe I will try and add Acen to that as well. :o
