Slugfest AX 2009

Well it's that time of the year again.

Anime Expo in Los Angeles California will be July 2 - 5 this year.

I have arranged to have our Annual Cel Collectors gathering know as Slugfest for RS & Beta members to be held on Friday July 3rd at the Bonaventure Brewing Company located on the 4th floor #418A of the Westin Bonaventure Hotel located at 404 S. Figuroa Blvd north of the Convention center.

It's the same place as last year and will be at 7:00pm. Like last year we will be able to order off the menu and I did get a promise that they will limit it to a max of 6 people to each check.
They made the same promise last year but somehow the made 1 check for the large table.

I must give them a final total no later than Monday June 29th.

Do remember that even if you choose not to attend AX you are still welcome at this event.

I am still waiting on the AX main events schedule to be posted before making a decision. They can be so slow with putting up the programming.

aw man!!! i want SOOOOO badly to go!!!
i live just about about a four hour drive there and i just found today out that Midori will be there too! *cries, whines* i cant believe she's going to actually be here in america (SO CLOSE TO WHERE I LIVE) man i wanted so bad to see her cel collection. darn and i bet someone will buy my dream cels that she has too.
(and those are the ones that ive been seriously working hard to pay my car off so i could buy them eventually).

man this sucks. with my finances this year i just cant go.

Aw, don't feel bad, Bell. You never know - with the economy as it is right now, I am guessing the a lot of the people who could easily spend $$$ for artwork now can't afford to spend that much. The items that you want might not sell.

lol, my inner drama queen has left the building (so its safe to come out now ... LOL )and
God and i had a long talk last night and he reminded me there are more important things out there (and if its really meant for me, he'll save it for me). i just have to keep focusing on the important things.
