Otakon 2009?

Is there going to be any kind of panel or gathering this year? I was actually considering bringing my cels this time. :3

I'm up for another cel meet. Last time we did it in some hotel's restaurant, but I forget which one. Who else is up for meeting?

Right now Iam on the fence regarding If I can come or not.. Iam working my a$$ off doing this internship and that week we get really busy due to events coming up but.. I really do want to come...

Actually no, but the week of otakon (Monday-Friday) I am working roughly 60 hours due to the event.. and on Friday I am set to work 7 AM to 5 PM so if the meet is on friday night I may be to dead tired to attend.. But I may be able to get off on the Friday but I wont know till closer to the date..

But I'd like to come, last time I came (2007?) I regreted not bringing some of my sketches along. So If I do attend ill bring some.

I'm going! It will be my first time at Otakon and I'll be by myself so it would be nice to meet up with some people I know one-way-or-another. I just need to know where and when to meet... how to get there.

Unfortunately I was too late to get a hotel by the convention center so I'm stuck with a hotel by the airport. I have no idea how to get from there to the convention center but I'll come up with something.

You can get from the BWI airport to the convention center downtown by either light rail or MARC train. Maps and schedules are at:

Yeah, it's not that hard of a journey. It might take a little bit of time though, depending on how well you plan your train schedule. If you plan well, maybe 20 minutes from hotel to convention center.

Should we stick with the same hotel restaurant? Last time was great because we were the only people in the restaurant!
