Sakura-Con (April 22-24)

Will anyone here be attending Sakura-con in Seattle from April 22-24?

I'll be there, presenting (hopefully) two panels: one on cel collecting, one on demonic women in Japanese mythology. We'll just have to see what I am approved to do.

Hope you get your panels approved-would love to go to either (esp the cel panel, it's always fun seeing everyone in person)!

Oh man I would LOVE to attend a panel on cel collecting! I know I still have a bunch of worries and questions, and would love to learn more and meet other collectors!

Both of my panels were accepted.

I'll be hosting a cel collecting panel, as well as co-hosting a panel titled "Sirens, Shape-shifters, and Seductresses: The Demonic Women of Japan"

Hopefully, I see some of you there!

Oh man I am ecstatic your panels got accepted!

I will be at that cel collecting panel for sure. (This year's con is gonna be busy for me, between Kotono Mitsuishi being there and there being a whopping 2-3 separate Sailormoon cosplay photoshoots.)

I'd love to bring some of my artwork too but I'm way too paranoid about them getting damaged along the way, it's a 200 mile drive there, plus I have a lot of cosplay supplies to haul along. XD Maybe I could steal my mom's old iPad and shove my scans on there.

...The Sakura schedule was posted today, and I found your one panel, but I can't locate the cel collector's one. What are they calling it?

My panels are back-to-back.

The demoness panel is from 4:45 - 6:00pm, and my cel collecting panel is immediately afterwords from 6:15pm - 8:00pm. Both in room 606 (panel room 3).

Unfortunately, I won't be going after all. My 91 year old grandmother wants me to come visit at that exact time, and she tops anime hands-down. I should be there next year.

Was a very good panel you all ran on the Seductive Womens

It was very enjoyable to have a more academic style panel!
