AX Cel collectors gathering "Slugfest"2012

Well it's that time of the year again.

Anime Expo in Los Angeles California will be June 29th - July 2nd this year.

I have arranged to have our Annual Cel Collectors gathering know as Slugfest to be held on Friday June 29th at the Bonaventure Brewing Company located on the 4th floor #418A of the Westin Bonaventure Hotel located at 404 S. Figuroa Blvd north of the Convention center.

It's the same place as last year and will be at 7:00pm. Like last year we will be able to order off the menu and I did get a promise that they will limit it to a max of 6 people to each check.

I must give them a final total no later than Monday June 25th.

Do remember that even if you choose not to attend AX you are still welcome at this event.

Well, I plan on being there. Hopefully I won't have a funeral to attend because my dad's uncle might pass away right before then, but he has been in poor health for quite some time.

It should be fun. It was fun last time. I liked looking through everyone's folders.

I hope the weather will be a little cooler this year, but it always seems to warm up right before the start of the convention. Two weeks before AX it's always like 6-10 degrees cooler. It's hot standing in the sun on the opposite side of the building from where the wind blows.

Yes, both will be with me in LA, one voluntarily and one in protest (but the offer of a trip to Legoland settled the matter).

Hubby managed to score dog sitter duty at home.

Ugh, I really should. I've been a whole 2 times since the half. It's totally showing now too. I'm thinking of doing another because I'm slightly crazed, so I have to start up training again.
