We now have to talk about Trigun.

What an awesome Manga!! I'm to the 6th book and I almost soiled myself at what's transpiring.

Question: I've seen toys in comicbook stores now for characters from "planet gunsmoke" what's up with those?

The manga answers the question: Is it possible to hate Knives any more than before? - YES!
When he blew up the rescue ships that were coming from Earth, I really wanted to tear up the book and scream "Why can't anyone really stop this SOB?!?" But I was in my daughter's Speech Therapist waiting room and I was already getting strange looks for my choice of reading material /swt

How does the manga relate to the anime? Does it continue the story, or add additional information?

Yes, there is a hugh split between the anime and the manga!

It is totally different. For one, you get to see knives true powers. For two, legato can do things to people using only a tanker truck that can make you squirm in your seat. For three, yes wolfwood CAN be even more of a badass!

And that's just the tip of the iceberg :D 8O
