Ok, the last few chapters of VK have totally confused
me with the way they are jumping back and forth from
flasbacks to present time. I know I am going to have to
read them like 3 of 4 times before I get it all figured out.
Here is my what I want to know, though:

Ok, so Zero was bit by Shizuka. He's been sucking on Yuuki's blood, and now has sucked Kaname's blood as well which has the blood of Shizuka mixed with it as well. So, does this mean that he will become human again. Cause Shizuka said the only way he can become human again was to suck her blood. And why did he have to suck Ichiru's blood to become whole?? O_O I am totally confused. Any ideas?? @_@

I'm glad someone brought this up. I don't feel so stupid now because I've been quite confused with this manga.

I had sworn that earlier in the manga Shizuka said that if Zero sucked her blood then he wouldn't become a Level-E. Instead he would become a regular vampire like the night class.

By drinking Shizuka or Kaname's blood (a pureblood), Zero would not turn into a level E vampire (lose his mind due to the desire for blood). He would still be a vampire. As Kaname pointed out because he drank Kaname's blood mixed with Shizuka (chapter 30 *sigh,remembering the pic*) and Yuuki's blood (now awakened to a pureblood vampire) along with now drinking his brother's blood (last chapter) Zero would be powerful enough to take on Rido. Something Kaname can not do b/c he is the reincarnation of an ancestor that Rido brought back to life (otherwords, Rido is Kaname's master). So did I get the right?

What I'm not sure about and would like to know from this chapter is; what's going on with Rido, Ichijou, Cross and the Council. Also why didn't Yuuki go with Kaname? Where is he going and how did Yuuki get such a weapon all of a sudden? But the biggest question is....what happened to ZERO!! Hopefully, Zero will show up next chapter.

I thought that weapon of Yuuki's was her anti-vampire weapon that she used to carry around school. Now it's reacting to her vampire blood, but she's still going to carry it.

I agree with you Ang. I think it is her vampire weapon as well. Jenn and I talked about this earlier, and she thinks so as well.

confused. I couldn't keep up with what was going on. I am
still going to go back and read them again, now that I have
your interpretation. Maybe it will all make more sense now.

Also, my biggest dilemna has come to an end. I now know for
sure who I want to see Yuuki end up with, though, I am pretty
sure that is not how it's going to end.

I think I read in one of the previous threads that it is suspected that the manga is almost over.

How many volumes are there now?

I'm rather upset that there is only one ep left in the anime (well I've only seen to ep 12).

Because Kaname drank Shizukas blood as he was killing her, I figured that Zero would drink his - mixed with hers - to become a full vampire and be saved from becoming a level E. But with only one ep left I don't know how they could possibly end it.

Miz ducky, the manga that is out in the USA is through vol 4 (chapter 19) and it ends at the same place ep 12 does.

The newest update online is chapter 41. So there is a lot that happens between where the anime is now and where the manga is.

The Japanese website is showing season 2 starts in October 2008. So like Gundam 00, we get to wait for the continuation. At least the manga comes out on a monthly basis so far.

Yes...Yes. That is my favorite shot. Obviously! After reading 41 again this morning, I find that I am still up in the air as to which of the Night Class is following whom. It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out!!

I am wondering about Cross being a Hunter all of a sudden ....The night class will of course go with Kaname- don't you think?

I also love this series- both manga and anime.....do you think that Kaname transfers badly in the anime?
In the manga he is so cute.....but in the anime Zero definitely is the looker[/spoiler]

If you like the anime, you really should read the manga. The storyline is very close to the same, slight changes here and there so far, but the art is more detailed in the manga. I love looking at it.

Actually, I already checked out a couple of chapters online. I'm going to collect this manga so I probably won't read much online - just a chapter or two here and there.
