I'm sick to my stomach to think Haru wo Daiteita is just OVER...Like THAT! This was one of my all-time fav yaoi manga series...GAWD...She even pulled out of YAOI CON ;_;!

She has been an inspiration to me recently while writing my own yaoi series...*sigh*

*goes off into a corner and cries in her Be-Boy Gold collection*

8O That's just over-reacting (making her cancel the manga)
I don't read Yaoi, but I feel for her fans...

Though tracing over the WHOLE thing is just....um.... :?
I get using the poses, I get using the patterns, but I hope that other manga artists learn to not copy something else 100% and to just take elements here and there.

I saw the comparison and that "kissing on the edge thing was copied 100%. All she had to do was change the background, move stuff around and then okay.

The moral of the story.......Don't copy something so closely....or it could cost you your career....

*gulp*
OMG. I cannot believe it. This is just so sad. I'm not caught up on the manga...but now I feel like I should not even bother. I do not want to get too intwined in a story that I know will end to soon

It's not gonna even end soon...It's just over...right in the middle of it! ;_;! That was her decision. Her parent company has pulled her entire back catalog, and will more than likely drop her...

I'm just hoping another will pick her up, so she can at least finish the story...BUT, she'll have to want to first...according to what I've read she's not going to be drawing ANY MORE!!!! ;_____;!

Say it ain't so...

I just found "Love Song For The Miserable" at Borders, and she has a great story in the J-boy they have on their shevles as well, called "The Summer & The Nostalgia"

Wow. That comprehensive list was...just wow. Many of her images are direct rip-offs of advertisement photos.

But others - they're just standard modeling poses. I don't see how some of these companies could be upset with her, since she changed the clothes, sex and background of the image.

While it is sad that her label completely dropped her, it is understandable. Don't tell me that she was completely ignorant of copyright laws...

Wow.....just.....wow..... I can't believe how many there were. 8O It certainly kills any admiration for the artwork. At least for me. What a shame.

I think it's ok to copy models' poses or even some of the clothes, many artists use magazines for inspiration. But in this case, some of her works were juz too blatant...she didn't even change the composition and backgrd scenery! X| A pity tho...coz she obviously has drawing skills.

The person who put up the site which shows the adverts she used must either be a big anti-fan or an insider....
