Fave manga character - round #4 - closed

Well, we're really getting down to it now. As we bid a fond farewell to the 15 characters that left us, let's take a look at who came out on top last round. For the second week in a row, Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin has placed #1. Also, Zero from Vampire Knight has placed #2 for the second week in a row. Will this trend continue?

Placing 3rd was Roy Mustang from Full Metal Alchemist.

Kenshin - Rurouni Kenshin = 10
Zero - Vampire Knight = 9
Roy Mustang - Full Metal Alchemist = 8

We are now down to 27 characters, the so called halfway point considering we started with just over 60. Some characters had amazing comebacks at the end but we needed to trim down the list or else this would go on forever.

All the characters that had 2 or less votes when I announced their pending doom received more votes so at the end of the round the minimun number any one character had was 3 votes. So therefore, we said goodbye to ALL characters that had 3 or 4 votes.

That being said, it's time to find out who survived the cut and vote for our favorites. Oh yeah, and I should mention that y'all have been spoiled in the past rounds. This round you are only allowed to vote for 5 characters.

We're getting near the end so "throw away" votes will be going away.

I recounted both Wolfwood and Sai. While both characters did receive 4 votes each, I elminated all characters with 4 or less votes. My announcement stated characters with 2 or less votes were going to automatically be out. Characters that had only 3 votes were jeopardy. I did not update the list after that announcement. Had I done so, I would have revised my statement claiming 3 or less votes would be out and 4 are in jeopardy.

It's not about the actual number of votes. It's about the characters receiving the fewest amount of votes each round being eliminated in order to get down to one final character. I'm sorry if I did not make that clear earlier. Our goal is to lose about 10 per round. We had 6 characters receive 3 votes and 9 receive 4 votes. Since I knew that the number of votes was being halfed this round (halfway point), I made the decision to eliminate 15 characters instead of just 6.

My apologizes to anyone who is upset with this. I lost my 4th character too so I'm down to only 1 from my original nominations. If several people post wanting the 9 with 4 votes back to make the game go longer. I will restart this round. I was beginning to become afraid that some people might be growing tired of the game even though others have posted their fun.

It's supposed to be a fun game for all. Please post your feelings regarding this. Thanks!

I think it's fair. I certainly don't expect this to last forever. Eventually all but one will be eliminated.

The only ones that made it to this round in your list are Kenshin and Deunan. You can still pick three others though.
