What was your first manga?

Mine was Samurai Deeper Kyo. I wanted to try manga - and since I had enjoyed the brief, 26 episode anime, it seemed like a good choice.

I began reading it in 2004, and am currently waiting for volume 35 to hit the bookstore. 20/20 hindsight tells me it probably would have been nice to know in advance that the series was an extremely condensed version of an ongoing manga that finally concluded in Japan after a seven year run. -_-

Mine was Dragon Ball.

Then sailor moon. But I couldn't afford both on my elementary school kid salary of change from the school lunch. XD So I stuck with Dragon Ball because I liked the art better.
