Post by MyBaby »

Hello everyone! Can anyone recommend a good, romantic manga. It can be new or old. I'm looking for some to read. Thanks! :iluvu

I like "Reimei no Arcana"(Dawn of the Arcana).

It's about a princess, Nakaba, who was forced to marry the prince of a neighboring kingdom in order to work out a peace process between both countries. She traveled with her half-breed servant, Loki, who is in love with her. Nakaba occasionally goes into a trance and sees visions of the future.

There's quite a few romantic(and awkward) situations between her husband, Loki & a neighboring prince, and a decent story line as well.

I recommend kimi ni todoke, shojo manga that got converted to that popular anime last year. personally I think the manga's plot is more developed compared to anime and paced just right verses the anime at first seem to be a bit rushed and wasn't all that descriptive.

Alice 19th
Kill Me Kiss Me
Little Butterfly - warning - shounen ai
Junjo Romantica - warning - yaoi

You can always hop over to MAL (myanime list.net) to check out the synopsis of each to see if it's what you're looking for before you read.

I haven't read much romance manga...not to mention shoujo/josei romance manga.

But from what little I've read from the four demographics, I suppose I liked "Bitter Virgin" and "Hana to Akuma" the most.
