Does anyone know what anime this cel comes from?

The cel didn't come with an anime title in the auction description:

It looks very familiar, but I can't place it. :bwall

Well, it's not Ai from Twin Angels, if that's who you were thinking.
They style of her eyes reminds me of Tenchi in Tokyo or BGC 2040.
Maybe a minor character from one of those. You'll have to ask someone who's seen the series'.

Twin Angels XX was the seller on YJ, right? I think that's why "Twin Angels"
appears in the URL.

The art style also reminds me of Tenchi in Tokyo, as well as one of
the El Hazard series. Dunno which one exactly, but it seems kind of
similar for some reason.

Yeah, twin angels_xx is the seller, but I don't normally go through all his auctions anymore. There are just too many pages to look at and I'm trying to cut down the number of YJ pages I look at each day. I just happened to have stumbled across this one:

Someone should invent a seifuku database to help out in these types of situations. :D

twin_angels_xx never includes the title in the description--it's always located in the auction title. The same goes for the company's other YJ ids, celhazard and tbrysomething or other (that's not the id, I just can't remember the third one).

It's from Kyoukasho ni Nai, which translates to "Not in textbooks." I imagine it's implying something you can't learn in school, but you can learn in "school." :)

Dangit! You know how many auctions I had to wade through? *grumble grumble* :D

Ah! Okay. Thanks Klet.

That explains it. My translator translated it as "a textbook doesn't have it" which is very close to what it translates when the seller doesn't know what show it comes from. :emb

Using the English title you gave, I found it's "Very Private Lesson". I actually have that DVD somewhere. :sweatdrop

I must have watched it 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years ago and that explains why she looked so familiar. :puzzled

Good knowing where stuff comes from. /no1
