When I first discovered Yahoo Japan was back when Celga was just about the only deputy service to use. Translations weren't easy for me to get so I bought very few cels. But then I came across what appeared to be large pages of Sailor Moon manga.

I would say they are not repro pages for all that I have seen are like these http://www.rinkya.com/twview.pl?URL=htt ... /n49373309 that have the NFS and other info on them.RX78GP02AGUNDAM wrote:Looks like the original comic book pages. But cant tell if they're reproduction or the real thing with the pictures. Reproduced pages are pretty common to see in JP. Dunno about how limited the quantity is or how they were released.
Original pages like this one http://www.rinkya.com/twview.pl?URL=htt ... /n25767728 also have certain #'s and info on them. So I would tend to agree Cutiebunny that these are most likely pages taken from the Nakayoshi magazine.

"Not For Sale" and such tend to be printed on FREE items. Things given to bookstores as inscentives and such. Lately been seeing this with newer titles. When its an actual product, like a limited edition reproduction comic page, they do not have such things like that.
Sorry Ralphy, gonna use your link. http://ralphvboy.rubberslug.com/gallery ... mID=186697
If you look on YJ under Reproduction Genga, you will find lots of genga reproductions... without markings or notes saying theyre not for sale, or the fact that they are reproduction on the image itself.
When I said Original, didnt mean to say the page is original, what I meant an original reproduction item....not a cut out from a book.
Also, Nakayashi is printed on junk paper. Item in question looks like its printed on thicker stock. If it is a cut out, its prob from Sailormoon artbooks. There's that 5 volume or so SM artbooks most collectors have. Maybe an SM collector with those books ID these?

If it doesn't look like a handmade job where someone glued the pages to a board, that will rule out it being a cut out from a magazine.
Ive seen many artbooks come in limited boxes, where they come with pencil boards, lithographs, reproduction genga, toys and figures and what not. Like

If you have the time, look up all the sailormoon products on YJ...or look for a sailormoon forum and ask around there.

Only one Sailor Moon artbook was a limited edition one and that was because of the low print number.
I know there were about five or so 'prints' that the seller had up, these two were the ones that caught my eye.
I've been looking through YJ and I haven't seen any others like them again. I was just browsing through my things, trying to organize them, when I came across the 'prints'.
And they're not doujinshi pages. They're actual scenes from the manga.

I own five of the seven Sailormoon artbooks. Unless this was featured in the Infinity book(which I do not own but does contain pictures that other artists sent to Takeuchi and some drawings that she made that were never printed), then, these scans are definetely not from the artbooks. The artbooks contained high quality glossies of manga artwork that was featured in Nakayoshi as well as other publications that featured the manga-style artwork during the first run of the series.
I don't own any of the Nakayoshi artwork from 1992, so I can't vouch about the quality of paper stock that was used then. For the most part, Nakayoshi does use a low quality stock and different color inks(purple, blue and pink are the most common). I've never seen a black color used in Nakayoshi, but, I haven't seen any volumes from the 1992-1997 Sailormoon era.
Not all pages in Nakayoshi feature page numbers. Some of the ones that are graphic heavy skip the number feature.
The second scan is what strongly leads me to believe that these are cut-outs from Nakayoshi. Every so often, a super popular manga will receive a three page color introduction. The first or last page, depending on how the story is positioned in the manga, will generally be an introduction(in color) or a recap of a climax in the last episode. The other two pages(those facing each other) will feature a nice layout.
