Can anyone ID these?

In our last gallery update we added two uknowns that are just gorgeous but we know nothing about them and would be greatful if anyone has an idea.

The background paired with that one we previously owned and does not match. This one has been ID'd as Romance of the three kingdoms. THANKS!

This one has been ID'd as most likely Pygmalio. THANKS!

I actually remember trying to id the lady cel once before on the animanga forums. I don't know if you had it at the time or not. I looked up what I wrote back then:

I had a hunch, and I think I'm right after doing a
little browsing. I think the cel of the lady is
from the anime version of Shinji Wada's "Pygmalio"
There's a profile in the image in the upper right

I still think it might be Pygmalio, but I haven't actually seen the anime version so I'm not 100% sure.

We didn't have the cel then we've only had it for the last 6 months or so. So I had no idea it had an attempted ID before. ^_^ Thanks so much for that info though! I did a look up on Pygmalio last night and it defintely has the same look & feel. Now I'll just have to find a copy of pygmalio to review, though given the sites I encountered, it looks like my best bet for that will be brushing up on my French. Thanks so much for the info! I really appreciate it! I always hate having such lovely artwork and not knowing where it came from.
