Identifying Autographs

Post by Koneko Koji »

Heya all,

I've got three autograph cards I bought on Mandarake such a long time ago, that I no longer have the info as to who signed them - I know that it's got to be a couple of my favourite seiyuu or I wouldn't have bought them - but I just don't know!

If anyone could help that would be awesome!
Thanks in advance,

Koji

Well...I have no idea whose those are...but since you thought Seki Tomokazu might be a candidate...I can show you an autograph I have of his and you can take a guess if it's similar to one of yours...

(I really can't say it looks too much like an unreadable scribble to me, heh.)

It's the scribbly mark in the upper right corner heh. I think your signatures are too legible to be his probably ^__^;;; But...I dunno...the most scribbly looking one on your first card miiiiight be close enough. You can compare and be the judge, lol. Mine is probably not the best example because he was churning out hundreds of autographs at a con. I bet your cards were done for some special event where the signers weren't quite so rushed. So it would make sense mine was messier.

The middle one is Kazuhiko Inoue. The series is "Batsu and Terry" (the top picture on the shikishi with the two guys, NOT the Dirty Pair picture on the bottom) and you can tell he plays Batsu since he wrote it above the signature.

Since the first shikishi is for K.O. Century Beast, there's a good chance it contains signatures for Kappei Yamaguchi and Takehito Koyasu since they are both in that show. The pink signature is definitely Mika Kanai, since you can make out the characters in her name.

Hope that helps! ^_^

I'm pretty sure none of those are Tomokazu Seki or Midorikawa Hikaru. I've owned signatures of both and none look familiar. I no longer have the Midorikawa one, but here is Tomokazu:

Always looking for high-quality Tamahome, Tasuki or Boshi-twin cels!

I remember now that one of them for sure has Koyasu's on - because I remember the feeling of elation at winning it ... but in my dotage (LMAO) I can't remember which one it is - so aethel may be right, i just need to find a comparison now to check <3

i've got signed towels as well from Saiyuki (Ishida Akira and Seki Toshihiko) - but i'm not sure if I should put them up in the gallery because they're not really art...
