Another translation request

Post by cutiebunny »

So, I'm interested in opening my wallet up and spending some hard earned cash. I found two things I'm interested in, but, every time I run the translation in google, it seems to be chock full of oxymorons...

Please note that I omitted the name of the artist and title.
Auction 1 -

I get that this comes from a contest that occurs at the end of the year. But my question is...is it an original drawing & signature or is it a copy?

And Auction 2 -

当選◆直筆サイン入り年賀状◆ 抽プレ

◆イラストは印刷です。裏は、ラベルを剥がした後があります。

Same thing here - is it an original drawing/signature or is it a copy?
Thanks for your help!

Auction 1: This is a total case of Japanese lingo vagueness, but I'm almost certain it's all printed. A printed new years post card of the artist's original drawing - won by a lottery drawing. If it were all original (meaning one of a kind), they wouldn't say 複製 in the title. Plus, if they were going to giveaway an original drawing, it'd be on a shikishi and probably not a post card.

Auction 2: The illustration is printed and the signature is original according to the description. :)
Hope that helps. /ok

Thanks for the speedy translation! The first one really had me confused...

I have some original posties from a couple of monthly manga companies, but this was the first time I had seen anything from this particular magazine. I suppose that every monthly magazine has their own version of the New Year's posties...
