I've been working on scanning some cels that I got over the past few months. A couple of Legend of Galactic Heroes cels came with douga that are very obviously not from Legend of the Galactic Heroes. One I feel like I should be able to ID. The other I figured out, and it's kind of neat.
This one came with a cel of Yang drinking a glass of wine. The little girl looks very 80s-90s, and the figure next to her looks like it might be an old man or something. I have no idea what this one is from, but it looks so familiar! If anyone can figure it out, please let me know
This robot came with a cel of Julian and Yang. The Japanese text in red says, "Carl Lewis Foot", which led me to discover that the robot is named Borot and it's from an anime called Marude Dameo (丸出だめ夫), episode 30 of the 1991-92 series. I love this kind of detective work.
Hector the Collector loved these things with all his soul,
Loved them more than shining diamonds, loved them more than glistenin' gold.
Hector called to all the people,"Come and share my treasure trunk!"
And all the silly sightless people came and looked...and called it junk.
