Cel Books

Post by fetish4minx »

OK...after the rough time everyone gave me (I only have three cel books about about 200 cels)...I've decided to buy more cel books.

I would definately PREFER to buy used cel books at less than new price.

I'm pretty sure everyone here is keeping their books...but it never hurts to ask.

Maybe someone has upgraded their old books to Itoyas????

Regardless, any information you can share is appreciated!! (who you recommend business-wise...who has the best prices...etc)

Hiya!! Midori sends me cel books everytime she sends me
a shipment. I think I have like 4 extra's. Not sure how many
cels they hold. I can check on it later for you when I get home.

If you want Itoyas, try here.

I think it evens out to around $13 a book, including shipping. I bought mine from them, but when they were on auction, rather than from their ebay store, so it ended up being $3 cheaper. I'm not sure what kind of price range your looking for, though. :?

They also have bigger books on auction and in their shop--but they all come in packs of three.

Unfortunately, I only need one - not three. X|

My local art store just started carrying them, so I bought three 17 x 14 books and will be going back for more soon. They are not really expensive when you don't have to ship them. 8)

I think that these are the same thing. A single book would probably cost you about $7 more than one of those, including the shipping.

Ho. Ho. Ho.

From the Dickblick site: "Just slide your artwork into Itoya's crystal clear "pocket" pages for a highly organized, customized, and professional presentation."

HIGHLY ORGANIZED MY FANNY.

You should see mine!

Yep, that's why I haven't bought any big ones yet, even though I need one for a couple of my cels. I just don't think I'll ever have enough huge cels to justify having three. Of course, you could always try reselling the other two, I guess. :?
