Recognize this old anime?
Does anyone recognize this anime? I think it's from 1989. The VHS tape box art looks kind of interesting. I thought maybe one of our Older Anime Experts on Beta might be familiar with it.

I think the title of it is: 宇宙皇子
Anyone have a clue?

13 OVA episodes eh? It's got to be one of the longest OVA series around.

That auction is for the Utsunomiko movie. The artist is Mutsumi Inomata. She's also done design work for Windaria, Leda, Weathering Continent and Cyber Formula to name a few.
Once upon a time (the late '80's to the early '90's say) they used to do long OVA series. Now they strech them out and put them on TV.

Not even close. I think Legend of the Galactic Heroes holds that title by a long shot with 110 episodes in the main series and the 52-episode Gaiden series.Keropi wrote:Wow cool...I bow to your superior knowledge!kymaera wrote:Utsu no miko
