Making a GIF file?

I would like to make an animated sequence...can anyone tell me how?

I have photoshop on my computer...and everything is scanned.

The way I do it is make multiple layers, then send it over to ImageReady (the button on the bottom of Tools Bar [Ctrl+Shift+M]) and play with it there. You can then make multiple frames turning off each layer, altering the time for each "frame" and then save it as a gif.

Can't help with Photoshop, I use Fireworks for making GIF's.

I you want, PM me and I could make the gif for you. I'd be glad to help. Just let me know how long you want each frame held for.
