The Mayor is a minor character that would be hard to spot if you don't know the show, so someone obviously did their homework! It makes a collector feel all warm and fuzzy inside. *^_^* Thank you, Aurelien!!
Anyhow, I've not posted in the wishlists section in a while, but with some Enemy's cels coming out of hiding, I find myself feeling hopeful... ^_^ In no special order, some of the things I'm hoping to find are:
-- Saiyuki (**BIG WANT** genga from Burial or especially the new Gaiden OVA; looking for higher quality pieces than the scratchy, rough Burial layouts on Yahoo Japan; there are also still scenes I'm looking for from the other installations of the show but my collection of the older seasons is LARGE and I'm VERY picky; that last said, I've a huge soft spot for interaction between Sanzo/Konzen and Goku) (none of Saiyuki is made with cels)
-- Blade of the Immortal (**BIG WANT** looking for genga, most interested in characters interacting, but would love to see ANYTHING AT ALL) (no cels made for this show)
-- Black Butler, aka Kuroshitsuji(sp?) (Looking for FIRST season; I already have a number of low-ish quality pieces from this and am really looking for a stash of high-quality genga to feast on or even highly detailed layouts; looking for all major characters and some episode-specific minor characters, character interaction preferred) (no cels made for this)
-- Amatsuki (looking for genga, especially of the **fox**, I have screen caps and will edit this post to add them, would love to be able to consider anything people have to offer) (no cels made for this)
-- Vampire Miyu (TV or OVA, I'm always looking for quality pieces of the shinma and would still consider other cels/genga/douga from memorable scenes, but my collection is LARGE and I'm very picky) (both TV and OVA made with cels)
-- Eatman (OVA or TV, I have quite a few images of Bolt Crank alone, but am still hunting cels of him with his **eyes showing** or with episode-specific characters; especially wanting complete cel setups; I'm ALWAYS eager for nice OVA pieces, complete or not) (both OVA and TV made with cels)
-- The Enemy's The Pirates (especially of the black cat Apouto with his eyes open or of the lead "bad guy", Youmei, but this show is FULL of scenes I would love to have and I do not have a lot from it) (this show is made with cels)
-- Curse of the Undead Yoma (I've been informed the cels from this show were largely destroyed, if you think you have cels from this that you want to sell, I'm interested, keeping in mind that I already have cels from the couple sequences that seem to have survived; If you've seen cels from this for sale, tell me where! If you've even seen them in someone else's gallery and they're not for sale, I would still love to go look ^_^)
A couple notes on my collecting habits, in case it matters.... While I fully appreciate the beauty of an up-close image, I am largely a SCENE SHOPPER. That makes it amazingly difficult to know for certain what I'll jump on and what I'll turn away. As a scene shopper, I'm not hugely interested in OP/ED pieces or hankens, which are always beautiful but (to me) often just feel "too posed". (Trust me, I know how stupid that sounds. *LOL*) I like to see interaction between characters and for sketches (almost always) the multiple characters MUST be on the same sheet. (I have turned away two big-time wishlist scenes of mine when I finally saw the sets and realized the image was split onto multiple pages.) I almost always, 99.99999% of the time, prefer gengas to dougas, but I never say never, because I would consider a douga set of a bigtime wishlist piece, if no genga were available. Photocopies, even if proven they were used by the studio, aren't worth much of anything to me.
