I have watched the 7ep ova of 3x3 eyes and really don't recall seeing this character. My reply from the seller is that he is not sure which ep this character is from. on the off chance that I'm right, does anyone know which anime this character is from?

Actually I have no idea, but silverdrago is a solid, respectable seller and the cel looks to be eyeworthy and in fine condition. Price doesn't seem outrageous either.

I believe that the cel is actually from the 3 X 3 Eyes game not the OVA. I have seen a few cels of additional characters that never appeared in the OVA.

Yes, I have some Rayearth sketches that can't be traced to the TV series, and I understand they go with the Playstation game version. Rallihir has a cel that goes with one of these and has heard the same thing. So JWR is likely correct.

I'm alive, just patiently waiting for the last of my YHJ wins from May and June to come stateside. My gallery has a sunny seaside layout for July with both of my cels of The Light (Mokona Apapa's and Leiji Matsumoto's) highlighted. Look for an update and a "Quirky Tour" renewal at the end of July to celebriate the 12th anniversary of my first cel purchase and the 10th anniversary of my Rubberslug Gallery.

Thanks JWR! so I was looking at the page you posted and afterwards found a promotional video on youtube. I think this cel might be from a cut scene in the window 95 version remake of the Sanjiyan Henjyo game, the art style seem to match.

@troll voices: good to know your all healthy and kickin I do have a few cels from silverdrago, his certainly a good seller. was actually expecting this to be from some anime I've never heard of...still its certainly nice to have the mystery solved. I've seen people referring the manga as masterpiece, it'd be nice to see most of them turned into anime sometime.

A dedicated group of fanscanners at sanzanquest finished translating all 40 volumes of the manga last year. Dark Horse gave up after I think 9 books for at rate they were going they would finish in 2028 for they were publishing a single chapter every couple of months in their "Super Manga Blast" book and then releasing the book once all the chapters in it were published.

It is a very intense story with great artwork.
