I don't believe the Rubberslug search function is working as it should recently, so searching for particular items is rather difficult.

My most favorite thing to search for are UNKNOWNS!! I love looking through unknown sections, even if I may not know what they are. It's still lots of fun to check out new stuff!

So, to somewhat counter the problem with RS, perhaps we can post your unknown items or links to your gallery here!! :bounce
Maybe we can generate some extra eyes on those unknowns and get a couple IDs out of it!

It definitely looks KORish, but not Kyosuke. Too young and wrong hair color. Could be a one-episode character from that series, though!

That cel does look a lot like Kyosuke. Perhaps it is from OVA where they go skiing? here is a link to ANN and it would be episode "white lovers" http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... php?id=492

The cockpit one reminds me of Platinumhugen Ordian, but I don't see enough there for me to be sure.

The cel is Ryosuke from Kimagure Orange Road. It is from Episode 34 "Roots Panic! Madoka in the Mysterious Homeland". On the Animeigo DVD set, it can be found at KOR TV Series Volume 9 (Title 2 16:24 / Chapter 5 6:13).

Holy cow!! Thanks so much for tracking that down!! I actually watched a couple of KOR eps last night trying to find it, but no luck. It was funny watching it again--I don't think I ever watched the whole thing, but I do remember bits of it! xD

Okay, so one unknown down!! How about you guys? Do you have any unknowns that have been bugging you?? Post 'em here and let's try to pool our anime knowledge together!!! *^^*

Thanks a lot man! gotta credit you. Its been years since I've seen that one, and when I went on that DDL site yesterday I was kinda eyeing it for a sec there but decided that I didn't remember liking it the first time...little did I know I remember almost nothing of it! On a side note, some good looking cels this series got lol

That's okay! I'm going to have to make a larger scan of the cel someday. Perhaps it might be recognized that way. I would have to undust my scanner and reinstall the software to do it. It's a very old scanner. I wonder if it would still work. :|

Yeah man, its a gem from the past...ending wise I mean. These days its hard to find ending unique like that in the kind anime...its usually too predictable, good or bad.

Its the censorship I tell ya!! The cel is so brightly painted that, I'm still in the denial stage thinking my scanner is incapable of such a feat. Otherwise the sub group's rip source didn't do justice to cel themselves. I would like a nice cel of the black/dark purple haired character lol
