Translation/Question About Sonic OVA (Studio Pierrot)

Post by Ichigos »

My first question is about this auction: http://smjsearch.com/cgi-bin/b.cgi?g137504938

" A-2 動画あり 背景あり 背景、紙張り付きあり "

When translated through Yahoo.. it says this "A-2 video and background and background the paper sticks" so I'm assuming something is stuck to the background.. would that be the cel? And I'm guessing this auction doesn't come with the douga?

My other question is about Studio Pierrot. Has anyone ever seen any cels/artwork from the Sonic OVA that they animated? It was known as "Sonic The Hedgehog: The Movie" in English. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/e ... imeVHS.jpg

Apparently the site was down there for a bit. xD

A-2 --> The Cel is A2.

動画あり --> Comes with Douga (translation programs often translate this word to "video", but we in the animation business know to *not* translate this word literally.

背景あり --> Comes with a background.

背景、紙張り付きあり --> The background is attached to the cel.
