Rubberslug question: when do cels stop being "new"

Hi everyone. I was hoping a rubberslug veteran could help me out with a question I have.

When do items added to one's gallery stop having the little "new" tag? Does it only go away after you add another update?

If i remember correctly.. its 7 days. max 14 days
