I'm just curious to know if y'all have ever counted the number of cels you
currently own. I've been sorting cels this past month and scanning new ones
as well as doing a few rescans of old cels I own. So I counted.
I'm shocked to say that I currently have around 275 cels in my gallery and
about 100 more to scan! So I would say 350+ cels that I currently own.
I have 229... but of course I am getting rid of at least 11 of those. I also have one american cel... this does not count the copied sketches or anything like that in my collection. no wonder why I have so many cel books... >_>

Me too!!
I re-did mine just the other day as a matter of fact Of course I don't have nearly as many as you guys just yet, but I am praying to those cel gods that more wishlists will come my way. Anyway I have 59 cels in total, 13 more should arrive within the week. Perhaps I should be praying to the scanner gods for little fairies to come and fix my scanner so I can scan all my new cels. I hate having them wait.

I have: 119 production cels, 6 production sketches, 4 self-made fan cels, 1 YJ purchaced fan cel, 3 self made fan sketches, 3 production cels on the way, and 1 studio repro. on the way. sooo a total of 137? i think.
Without the Rubberslug cel total for each category, I would never be able to even estimate. The count on the site (excluding the Highlights section) recently passed 1650. There are actually more than that though, as some entries have multiple cels. This count includes sketch sets which I only rarely break up into more than one entry. I have some cels & sketch sets I haven't included either. I'm sure we will pass 1700 well before 2008.
Ok, I have lost count, but there are over 600 images in my gallery. Sketch sets make up some of them and fan cels make up another group, but you get the idea.

I am whatever the complete opposite of that is! I could probably not even guess to the closest hundred how many cels I have. (And it's not because I have a bazillion of 'em or anything... I just have absolutely no head for numbers.) Just last week my husband asked me to figure out the value of my collection for insurance purposes!! He has NO idea what he just asked me to do! hahaha! I guess I'd actually have to start by COUNTING the crazy things!
Shellie, if you have most of them in books, see how full the books are. If your cel books are full, multiply by number of pages. Then count anything that isn't in books. That would at least give you an estimate!

Same here, I love that feature.
On the front page of my gallery, I have the following text:
We have 204 items posted in 45 categories.
I update that text every time I upload something new to the gallery. This excludes items in the sold section, fan cels and hidden items. I don't have all of my collection online yet either.
