Curious about something....

Post by SS Kakarot »

Not sure if I put this in the right place, if not feel free to move it.

A couple of days ago I won some Cels from cartoons that I had never seen any Cels of before.
It got me thinking, in the almost five years that I have been collecting I managed to get Cels (or at least Artwork) from so many shows that I have watched in the past.
But there are always some that I've never seen any Artwork of.

Now I'm curious has anyone here ever seen (or maybe even own) any Cels or Artwork from the following shows:

Ace Ventura (39 eps)
Action Man (26 eps)
Dumb & Dumber (?? eps)
Life With Louie (39 eps)
Robocop: Alpha Commando (40 eps)
Space Cats (13 eps)
Space Strikers (26 eps)
Spider-Man Unlimited (13 eps)
X-Men Evolution (52 eps, not Cel animation)

That's all I'm curious about at the moment, I'm not going to say yet what I have or what I own, unless someone really must know. :P
Thanks for reading. :)

You mean someone actually took the time to animate Dumb and Dumber?? 8O I had no idea! As a matter of fact, I don't think I knew most of those shows you listed were even made into cartoons, SSK. So, no, I obviously haven't seen any art around for any of them. Sorry I'm no help there! For many years, I have looked for artwork from Zoids Chaotic Century or Zoids Guardian Force... never have seen even one scrap. It's amazing that some shows can just completely fall off the planet without a trace. :) Good luck in finding stuff from the shows you're looking for, SSK!

If there is any artwork from these shows especially the Marvel titled ones you might check to see if Van Eaton Galleries has any. They tend to monopolize a lot of the american stuff.

YES, replies, thanks! :D

There is almost no information on the Internet on some of the cartoons I mentioned, and when I talk about it to someone they never know what I'm talking about! 8O
In the case of the Dumb & Dumber cartoon, from what I can find there have been only six episodes, it must have been a gigantic failure.
I liked it though, some of the episodes aired over here (perhaps all six, or maybe more) I still have them on VHS somewhere, just need to find them. :D

The only cartoon that I do not have complete on either VHS or DVD is Ace Ventura (it was never shown here, I got some of the US tapes), all the others that I mentioned I have. :D

I did check Vegalleries a long time ago, they had one model Cel of Robcop Alpha Commando for $75, it still seems to be there, but their website has been acting strange for a long long time. X|

Good luck on finding the Cels you are looking for Shellie! :)

I once saw an Ace Ventura Cel on eBay, it looked like a fan cel though. :(

Here is how I stand now, Yes means that I have something from it, No means that I don't and have never seen anything from it.

Ace Ventura - NO
Action Man - YES
Dumb & Dumber - NO
Life With Louie - YES
Robocop: Alpha Commando - YES
Space Cats - YES
Space Strikers - NO
Spider-Man Unlimited - YES
X-Men Evolution - NO

Hope to make another update soon, but I have not been having a lot of time the last few weeks. :l
Should anyone be very curious what I have from one of the series, just let me know.
