I was looking around and saw no thread on this topic :l

I only saw this one about frames:

I would love to frame some of my cels but I'm to afraid the sun will turn them extra crispy 8O

I'm looking for a big cel book to hold lots of Genga does anyone know where to go to get a good quality cel book for a reasonable price???

Thank You

Try your local art store to avoid shipping costs (but pay tax) 8)

Thats where I get mine :)

I think most people consider Itoya to be the standard in cel books. You can find them online at Dick Blick or In2Art, among others. You can also go the eBay route, or as glorff said, you can save on shipping by buying them at several art/craft store chains. Try calling some of the ones in your area to see if they have them in stock. :)

I highly recommend Jerry's Artarama. Here's a link to there Itoyas (though they carry other brands of portfolios as well):

Always had quick shipping/order processing as well as world-class customer service from them ^_^

Hey Carla,

Our Hobby Lobby carries Itoya Portfolios and they have a 40% off any item coupon that comes out every other week.

You can print the coupons off their site or join the email list for weekly reminders.

Hope that helps! Oh, and if they don't have them in stock, but a sales associate to order some.

Glad I could help, Carla!

I also like the Itoya Poly Zip Art & Photo Envelopes you can get at Hobby Lobby. They should be located next to the other Itoyas. They are polypro, acid free, archival safe, and good for storing larger quantities of layouts/genga/douga/timing sheets. I'll take a few cuts from the same anime and store them together. There is an external pocket where I can keep a list of what is inside. It keeps everything safe, organized and dust-free.

Have fun! :D

Yes! Thank you for the tip about Hobby Lobby! I never thought to look there for Itoyas. I went there last night, and lo and behold, they were 40% off. I decided to buy two books to house all my douga and genga for easy viewing, since they had just been stacked in one big pile in storage. Yay Hobby Lobby!

40% OFF!?

Man you guys are lucky. There is only one store to buy Itoya's here, and I they don't offer discounts. Shipping costs are just way out of hand here too, so I try to avoid buying things online unless I can get a free shipping deal.
