Just willing to build statistics between western and eastern way of taste.
Are they known major sites (even japanese language) about animation art collectors ?

I've seen a couple of Japanese websites listing a few collector URLs over the years, but those websites usually don't last very long. They're a lot more stringent at cracking down on posting licensed images out there. They often tell websites to take down their images.

Have you noticed the lack of images from anime on Japanese Wikipedia compared to English Wikipedia? I hate that because it makes it harder for me to track down info on anime series.

I can't tell much from only text when two anime are already similar to each other.

Looks like he's updated at least through end of 2009. I used to browse the links from his site all the time. Second link down is mostly personal galleries.

Japanese collector sites do seem to be rare compared to the number of US sites. One thing you can do is to look around on the sale sites of SOME Japanese dealers. Very occasionally, they will have a link to a page showing a few items from their personal collections, and I always find those interesting to see when I run into them. ^_^

Well in fact I'm looking for BBS, board and any Japanese main site for chatting on anime cel collection. Don't know if this exists at all. I'm not looking for private galleries or Rubberslug clones (in fact a Rubberslug Japan clone would be interesting to cross with the US one to establish local statistics), but for some kind of Anime Beta in Japan.

Any ideas / links ?

The only place I've seen them talk before is 4-chan.

I would think most of them would prefer not talking openly about such things.
