What's it called?

I'm drawing a complete blank. I should totally know this. What's the word for a "cel" when it's painted on background stock, usually used at the end of a sequence and held for dramatic effect. Japanese word. I'm completely forgetting. I'll probably remember in the middle of the night. It's not Tome. It's not a book cel. It's a ....

Harmony?

These usually involve a watercolor background and a blank cel overlay that strengthens the lines, especially of the characters.

Not a Japanese word, however...

edit: not a Japanese word, true, but it is what they call it in Japanese, if that makes sense
