Black Lagoon Hanken - Real or Fake?

/?: Simple question "Is it a Real-deal hanken or Fakey-dakey really good fan sketch that I lost big time in $$$ ? My answer real, with still a question mark to it.
/hmm The only reason I have with the sketch or hanken is, "Beretta 92FS" in her right hand doesn't have the "Jolly Roger" design on the grip.
/swt Also wondering if hanken(s) meant to have registration holes & sequence number? can't find any information on this part

The only picture I found so far is on motorbike - click here - Would think be a easy find & popular picture around the net but it isn't :puzzled

In first picture - top sketch is a copy {on the backside has the colouring (second picture)} & the bottom sketch is the original.
/sob I haven't got these scan has of yet but later in the year when I get a new A3 scanner.

If you bought them from Midori or Nomi-san I can
tell you they are 100% legit and direct from Madhouse.
Hankens don't necessary have to have registration holes
or numbers since they are intended for products
not production.
Some of my DN hankens have 2-3 sketches, one a pencil
sketch, a 2nd is a photocopy of the pencil sketch w/ hand-colored
shading, and the 3rd a rough sketch.
Just remember, that these are scanned into the computer
and colored in photoshop or painter, meaning the label
could very well not be drawn in because they already have
a pre-made/stock layer in either of the 2 programs that they can
just plop into the final drawing.
Hope this info helps!

Also, congrats on the gorgeous hanken!!
Its really hard to find anything from Black Lagoon.

I almost bid on that, I'm a big Black Lagoon fan. But for the life of me I could never find a production image that matches that. It's "possible" it was made just for the car you have linked....but it looks like a pretty crap job getting the image on it.

Overall the sketch itself looks professional and company produced, but for the reason above is why I didn't bid on it.

And actually, when I recently purchased a real hand-gun I got a Beretta 92FS. ^_^;;;

Nice hanken :D

There's a good chance it was made for Newtype or similar magazine. I have a Black Lagoon hanken myself, but have never been able to find what it was produced for. Which leads me to believe it is from a Japanese anime mag. This would also explain why it is so hard to find images of it online. As a last resort I even asked the Request board on 4chan :P

That's the bit I was getting confuse about. If the Black Lagoon Hanken was still on Midori site would made a comparsion between the two & "be easy as pie".
Thanks Shampoo. :dban

I wouldn't mind a good friendly bidding war, been a long time had a bidding war on something.
Well, found the site again where picture come from.

Also on the motobike has another paint job (more common picture) of Revy.
The motorbike "GK76A GSX-R400R" like a normal average street bike,
find on any normal day on any normal street/road/freeway/highway with no special features resembling like racing bike.

I had the same idea & checking all the my Newtype mags come up with nada. Could be right, may be in another magazine or be on the side of Weetbix box.
