Adventures in Painting a Background

Post by Yuuki »

A project I've given to myself over the summer is to improve my relationship with gouache. For practice, I thought I'd try my hand at making something more out of a freebee cel I'd gotten ages ago and give it a background. People seem interested in the process of making BGs, so I thought I'd share :)

A painting project full of pictures!

That looks great! I could've been fooled into thinking it was the original!

Thanks for the insight into your process as well :D :D :D

Beautifully done, and it was interesting and fun to see all the "in progress" shots. :)
