Cut and Timing

Likely a dumb question but does anybody know how the "Cut" is related to the video position in minutes? Or are they not related at all and the Cut is really based on storyboard and subsequently layout? Also does anybody know how to read a timing sheet? Is there a guide anywhere? I haven't touched some of my collection in years, particularly sketches but now that I did I realized there is so much I don't know. I loved Sensei's guide to sketches that gave me a new understanding and love of gengas, dougas, layout, complete stuff. I never understood it before but I do love cels still though they are quite impermanent.

I just made 3 pictures of a sample timesheet reading guide. It includes information of the time sheet and the back of the time sheet. If you have any further question feel free to ask.

Hey I just wanted to say thank you for doing this. I'll look at it more closely. I think the timing sheet is especially helpful to me :bounce

You might also check out this wiki page: https://wiki.cartoonedin.com/books/faqs ... ming-sheet (the wiki is still a work in progress, but that page is particularly comprehensive).
