Where is a good source of cel storage bags?

Hello all!

Back in the day when I was more active, it was really easy to find the Heiko cel bags (my favorite), so I never had trouble finding any. Nowadays, where do you get your cel bags from, both for standard sized and oversized cels?

Yes, I believe Heiko either went out of business or just stopped producing cel bags. Someone on here suggested BCW Treasury Comic Book Bags off of Amazon which 100 come in a pack. They fit most standard sized cels and backgrounds. I have bought them 8 times now and hard to beat the price! Currently $17.49.

I've been buying bags from a company called Clearbags. I prefer them over the BCW bags because the BCW has a slight cloudiness to them that is especially noticeable if you are bagging a multi layer cel setup but the ClearBags are crystal clear.

10 x 13: https://www.clearbags.com/10-x-13-flap- ... 4x330.html or https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0723 ... UTF8&psc=1 (out of stock on Amazon atm)

11 x 14: https://www.clearbags.com/11-7-16-x-14- ... 0x362.html or https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D2 ... UTF8&psc=1.

They have a ton more sizes if you need it on their site and Amazon.

I have heard quite a few other collectors mention BagsUnlimited which also sells microchamber paper but I haven't tried them yet.

I use Bags Unlimited, which also sells MicroChamber paper in various sizes and quantities. My choice is the "Large Life Magazine" aka "Large Sheet Music" size, which is exactly the right size for a standard TV-series sized cel (wide end in first) or a standard background (narrow side in first).

They have both polyethylene (which does add a subtle blur) and polypro (crystal clear) in various thicknesses. I go for polypro, as I slit the bag down one whole side to provide ventilation, and this is more difficult to do with polyethylene.

I use BCW bags when I need new ones, but I put the cel on top of the bag instead of inside it, on that black paper in the cel book pages, because I don't like any fumes that might be coming off them to be confined.
