I have been thinking about this for some time, and I'm curious what you all think of it.

We all know the Beta Awards that we have had for two years now, and it's always a lot of fun.
How would it be if we did something like that, but then only for the DBZ collectors?
DBZ may not be as popular as it was a couple of years ago, but there are many Beta members that have Cels of it, or at least one.

But I'd like to know what you think of the idea first, before I start thinking about the rules and stuff. :)

If you feel like doing something like that, by all means, go ahead.
From what I can tell, Beta has never stopped anyone from doing something that wasn't illegal.

As for my personal interest in DBZ awards, it is fairly thin. But I am sure others will be far more interested.

I would love it, but then i think the fans of other series would not think it is fair and would want one for their own series. But if they dont, then i think it is signed and published. :D

but it would be good to hear what a non DBZ collector thinks on it.

Nah, I don't think it's such a great idea. Especially since I wont win anything with my small collection I have now. lol.

But really, I agree with Marauder. Sounds like more trouble than it's worth, especially considering the dwindling number of dbz collectors out there. (they are smaller than two years ago, dont argue!) lol.

Yeah, maybe you two are right. :(

I'll wait and see what the other members have to say, and how the poll will end.
At this moment it's a tie! :o

I think that everyone could win though, even with just one Cel. :)

I'm sensing a trend. Do you have a twin? Perhaps a desire to lead a secret double life. I'd also bet you're attracted to any 2 for 1 deal.

DBZ beta awards, while I can see the attraction, will just open the door for other awards for specific anime and things will just spiral. One set of awards is enough I think. Thanks for playing though.

I have the same reaction.
Besides, the Beta-Awards have gotten a lot bigger since the first time. Chances are this year they'll get even bigger, making it a one time a year event.

I did not vote because I don't like the options.

I don't see why DBZ has to be a seperate story (again), but if you guys feel like it, by all means knock yourselves out :D :wink:

In my opinion i wouldn't be bothered about a poll. Its always a majin vegeta or ssj2 gohan thats gonna win awards anyways (my super dooper goten cels get left behind). and to tell the truth the cels mean something to me and thats whats important not what everybody else thinks.
