I've done it a couple times. Usually it's for major cels that I don't trust putting in one bid and being done with it. I just have to make sure I don't fall asleep during the last minute.

I was so close on that auction too...

Yes, more times than I can count especially if I really really want it.

I used to sleep with my laptop next to the bed already on the auction page ready for refreshing when I awaken.

Some of those auctions on Yahoo Japan can go off at extremely early am even for us lucky folks on the US east coast. But what I dislike the most is with daylight savings time, Mandarake auctions end an hour earlier, which takes some getting used to.

I've woken up early to bid on auctions. Nothing's better than seeing a cel auction won all the way through to the end. Yet it adds insult to injury when you wake up and lose
