ok, i was wondering something.

i know that the hunterxhunter tv series and first 8 episodes of the ova have cels.

i know that the greed island final is cgi so nothing but sketches.

what about the second 8 episodes that introduce greed iland? are there cels for these? or was it as the cgi start point and there's only sketches?

From my understanding, both of the last OVAs (the Greed Island ones) are completely CGI--sketches only.

That's just going off my judgement of the art . . . which I think took a turn for the worse once the show went CGI.

Then again, I have read some of the Greed Island manga . . . and that might be the reason for the bad art.

ah, ok.

well i liked the greed island.

i just hated the greed island finale openings and endings. those were horrid.
