My first choice as most effective weapon would be the man, Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star. Trained in a secret martial art for 20+ years he can bend steel, crush rock and dodge bullets. Sounds cliched but it's very effective.

Very nice, Sparta, I bought one from the same sequence from Mandarake a couple of years ago- it has the same BG too ^__^
That series had particularly good character design!
