Important Scenes vs. Quality of cel/sketch..

Many of my cheaper cels have a "connection" with me that my more expensive cels can't achieve. So it's not about owning a "fancy" cel or how much it costs, it's a cel that makes you feel good.

Now, no matter the scene, I won't just take ANY cel from it. For example, I saw this ADORABLE Tenshi ni Narumon cel of Noelle glomping Yuusuke, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy it because there was a gap where a table should be in their middles. If I don't like the cel, I won't buy it just because it came from some super rare scene or is of a certain character that only appears once or twice. It don't work that way

I like both quality and scenes.

Since I collect for love of that anime, I tend to go with memorable scenes that made me bawl or squee.

But let's say that the animation right there wasn't too good, and there's a very nicel setup cel... I'll ask myself which one is more rare, that I may not see again. Basically which one makes me nervous more if I don't see it again. Of course there is an exception, certain characters I drool over....

I am completely incapable of choosing... which would explain why my collection includes a few gorgeous cels from less than memorable scenes, and some rather so-so cels from important scenes. In collecting retrospectively, I guess we're all at the mercy of the artists.

To me neither matters. I dont care the quality or the scene. I would take any cel i can get.

I like all cels. Anything will do.......
