That's so horrible! I'm so glad to read that you can at least have another made though, I'm sure that's of little consolation knowing it could possibly happen again. I've never had customs completely destroy a cel though a while back I got an EMS package from mandrake arrive completely open, they hadn't even bothered to tape it back up! It came to me with just the cel sitting inside with no packing materials or mandrake receipt or anything just my poor cel in an open box.The cel was fine but I just about had a heart attack when it arrived that way! Just the other day I got a package (that wasn't art related thank goodness) Where I got shreds of the orginal box inside a sealed postal bag saying basically that the post office had a bit of trouble in handling. Everything was fine but it was very disconcerting because the outside was throughly destroyed. The post office seems to be getting worse and worse about package handling these days :( I really hope the claim goes in your favor!

I realized the more I collect cels, the more I start to dislike th PO since that is how I obtained the majority of my cels. It's bad enough they're giving me such a hassle for one of my packages lost in the mail and still cannot find it(which is the 1st time this has ever happened to me), but the thought of someone mailing a well packaged cel/s only to be damaged by someone who sloppily checks the contents and crams it back inside the package as if nothing happened is just frustrating.
In this case, it wasn't the PO's fault. It was customs', which is in a different department in the government altogether. They've been part of the Department of Homeland Security for the past few years now (before, they were part of the US's first department, Department of the Treasury).

Anywhoo, I'm glad to hear that the studio will remake the cel for you, Gonzai! That's what's great about relizu. :D
