Oh GOD no Curt! D:

Post by sletia »

I checked my bank account this morning only to discover that despite the fact I made it clear it was an accident, BOTH Paypal payments were withdrawn! I accidently sent the first payment in CAD so I rectified the situation by sending it again in USD with a note saying "disregard the first, I put it in my funds by mistake."
They were both withdrawn! Augh! By the time I get refunded it will be too late. The whole point of wanting only HALF of the cel price paid until Thursday when I made the second was I get PAID enough by then.
Now my account is super low and I NEED THAT MONEY TO GET ME THROUGH BY THURSDAY.
Aw hell. I'm boned. >_<

Yeah, of course. I also said he may as well consider the cel paid for because by the time he'd get the money back it'd be too late anyway.

Ummm, I doubt it was Curt's fault. If you sent a payment via your bank account (or your credit card) once you hit that send button, it is gone. The seller doesn't have to "accept" the payment. It just shows up in his/her account. So, Curt didn't really do anything. Once you made the first mistake, you should have contacted him about refunding you before sending the second payment.

Sorry that had to happen. X| I did something like this once, too. I went through my bank account rather than my credit card, and I didn't have the right amount of money in my checking (there was plenty in my savings, but that didn't help). X| Soooo . . . I ended up getting charged an overdrawn fee on my bank account.

We-ll actually since I sent it in CAD funds Paypal had a message that said he would have to approve it first since it was in funds he didn't accept. So I have no idea why he approved the Canadian funds.
Aaaand I'm still waiting for Paypal to release the funds back to my account. Le sigh.

Ah, I see. I didn't know that, as I've never dealt with sending or receiving in anything but USD. X| It's very likely, however, that he didn't read the note, since your second payment probably went straight through to your account. The only way you ever actually see those notes is if you actually open the email up--which I never do. X| I should probably start . . .

Anyway, I hope it all gets sorted out. :O
