Rilezu Question

I'm hoping collectors who've previously ordered rilezu can help me out as I'm a rilezu n00b

I pre-ordered a rilezu from Kyou Kara Maou OVA and I just received notification and a scan of the completed rilezu -- but, the image is not the exact one I thought I was getting.

Are rilezu usually just a single layer cel or are there more than one layer? Reason I'm asking is that the scan of my rilezu -- if I move the two characters closer together -- seems like it should line up and match the one I ordered -- I was just wondering if they, somehow, when they scanned it, it wasn't lined up properly (this is what I'm really hoping happened, otherwise, it's not quite the same as what I thought I was getting -- an inch makes a difference

)

Do you ususally get the exact image displayed on the website?

Other question would be what's my recourse if it is different than the image from the site I ordered from? I mean, how are these sites at dealing with these kinds of problems.

And on a side note -- I'll worry about color when I actually have it in hand

I did question my last SaiMono OP rilezu and Tada from AnimeCellar explained why the original scan did not show the true colors and sent additional scans, plus offered to let me not accept the order if I was not satisfied. I did accept it and I think it turned out great.

This rilezu is 4 layers and has plastic between layers to prevent sticking, which distorts his scan...at least that's what I was told.

When I first ordered rilezu, I did not question the coloring and probably should have. I would email back and ask your question and see what the response is. He may explain there are multiple layers.

I agree with AO about emailing. I had one in which the layers just needed to be re-adjusted, but another with two characters on a single layer that really was a sequence or two off from the screenshot I ordered.

I'd heard about the color differences so that wasn't an issue so much as I knew to probably expect that -- it was the fact that it wasn't quite the image I thought I was ordering off the website -- and to me, 'Yes', an inch does make a difference in this particular instance cuz...Lips just touching in the ordered image to lips an inch away just isn't the same

Ohh, I can definitely understand why you'd be concerned about if they are close or not for that scene!

It's probably a pipe dream, but I hope they release shots from the other two episodes - especially ep 4 with the bee bears!
