I am glad that we are both free.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Several years ago (well if this is a story of when I was collecting last, it has to be, right..?) there was a gentleman (I believe a friend of Yann's) selling some exquisite pieces on a private site.

One of them was a huge sketch by Kakinouchi Narumi of Larva. It's price tag was astronomically out of my price range at that time (and frankly, even now it would still give me great pause as it's more than I payed for the hanken I have).

As time has gone on, I have come to value original art by the creators more and more. Of my favorite shows, Miyu is the one where I have the most attachment to the manga it was based on, and so more than any other, really want a drawing of the characters by the original manga artist.

Part of me wants to say I regret not being able to purchase that drawing, though there is a part of me that is not sure even now if I'd be able to shell out that much.

I suppose second to that (and something I'd be more likely to correct given a second chance) would be not pursuing my dream cel of Raphael and Mikael when I had it in my sights. But at the time I just didn't have the funds.
