Show me Green

Post by sensei »

Image

In honor of St. Patrick's Day and the first rustlings of spring (we're seeing the first bulbs and early flowering trees light up in Cephiro).

"Green" could be plants, or "environmentally sensible" (as the PowerPuff Girls Zetto are being in the sketch above) or an anime character who is wearin' the green as part of his/her crypto-Irish heritage.

And in the light of the news from Japan, we all probably need a deep breath and an image of Hope to help us through the week.

Instead of the "Green" for plants, or "environmentally sensible," how about green for St. Patrick's Day as in green hair:

Kazuki Hihara

Ryotaro Tsuchiura

Akira Touya

and green attire:

Tohma Seguchi

just because it looks good!! :pimp

*walks off to find the green beer and corned beef and cabbage* :D

I'm lacking in green, but I definitely have plants. No clovers here though.

If Cringer has kittens, I'd like to adopt one. (I'm verifiably Irish at least on my father's side, though his grandfather was in fact Scots-Irish. He dressed in orange on St. Patty's day, and went to parades to get into epic fist-fights with Catholics. Anyhow, all of the family were extremely nice to green kittens around this time of year, as well as to cases of beer of any color.)

The Village of Blossoms' Agrarian Totem :

The Tree of Windaria

Which stands ever-strong as a reminder of the enduring power of Nature; as contrasted with the ephemeral existence of Man.
