I like the gif you made of this scene.

Re: Something fun
I don't collect Ai Yori Aoshi but admire JC Staff's animation work (especially for Asatte no Houkou, on which a number of AYA artists afterwards worked ). This image of Aoi is simply beautiful in its very simple but elegant style. It's nice that you also have the rilezu that goes with this genga.
Re: Something fun
As a nut for the cultural aspects of Japan (particularly kimono), this cel really stood out to me.
I especially love the background paired with it, I wouldn't know it wasn't matching, it fits that well!

Very pretty cel.
I like the wave of her incredibly long dark hair.

Re: Something fun
I only watched a few episodes of the show.
But, I thought the 'bot designs looked really great.

This is an awesome mech cel! The robot is covered in all kinds of small details.
The implied lighting also really accentuates each beveled extrusion on the Mobile Suite's frame.

I haven't watched BLEACH in a very long time, so it was fun going through your sketches. I really like this one, for some reason: http://chriscelsite.rubberslug.com/gall ... mID=156154

Re: Something fun
This is so easy this time:
"I despise bright colors!"
(Heh. So dye your hair gunmetal gray like the Queen of the Night in Maeterlinck's Blue Bird already!)
But I will take time to wander through some favorite galleries (like the infamous one devoted to CCS's "Maze") as I depart.
(My gallery has been "closed" for updating, but that just means the link from RS's home page is disabled. It's still wide open for traffic at the usual place with some of the new stuff already installed:
http://sensei.rubberslug.com/gallery/home.asp.
Just don't trip over the packing boxes, fall into a bottomless pool of styrofoam peanuts, or slide on the newly waxed floors. Waiting for one more box to come from Mandarake to reopen and celebriate "May ... er ... and June Madness.")

Re: Something fun
Interesting how they played with the lighting between this cel and what showed up on screen
