I rather being able to see what's been sold...

There's been alot of times where there's an update and I don't even have enough time to think before the cels are sold...

It would be nice to leave them up for a week then removing them.

I have simply created a a new serie called "Gone" that way each time I sell a cel I transfer it into that section. People can see what I used to have and may ask to whom I sold it.

I'm with the "take it down!" crowd.

It really irritates me when I click on a series link...only to find that the dealer no longer has any cels from that series for sale. The entire page is filled with images that all say SOLD next to them.

Another thing that is problematic for me, is when dealers put the "sold" text on the image itself, rather than on the site background. Since I have dial-up, it takes forever and a day to load certain pages. And in cases like this, I have to wait for the ENTIRE page to load just to see what's left to buy.

And I think that if you're going to sell online, you have a certain responsibility to mark your wares as sold. No one likes going to a site and sending in an order, only to find that the cel was sold YEARS ago.

I'm with Krafty on this one. Leave it up without the price for a couple of months and then take it down. It's pretty annoying to see a sold image up for very long, but I don't mind seeing what I just missed out on. Some dealers (including some of my favorite) will leave things up for years!
