Well, since Friday is Veteran's Day, I guess I'll try to start a military theme
for the week and see if anyone follows.

I went through all of my cels a couple times before I remembered that these two aren't just bishie: they're also military leaders.

Wow Joe, that 6-layer AMG cel is very detailed and clear. With characters of that size, they often loose most of the detials in their faes/clothing but it looks precise.

Based on the theme of detail, I'd choose this from my gallery, a Kabuto cel. Now, this series isn't well known for it's artistic brilliance BUT I think this cel and douga is astounding, especially the girl's face in the background. Just check out the douga because the lines are so delicate and she retains a lot of beauty for a tiny area of paper.

Krafty ... that Kabuto cel is gorgeous! So much detail --- it's really amazing.

I thought I would post this one here, as it is a cel of a character I never thought to have in my collection --- so I'm just doing cartwheels of joy over it!

Oooh! This was a fun thread. I had forgotten all about it. I decided to "play", but with a cel, instead of a sketch.

OK ... I know everyone is sick of seeing this one by now, but ... well, I'm still giddy as all get-out over adding it to my collection. So, although it's not necessarily "new" ... well, I had to pick it.

It was a fun thread (started for shameless self-promotion, I will admit), but it got to the point where only a few people were playing. C'mon, people! You know you want to shamelessly promote your cels!!!

I know that you all love those pieces of plastic/paper.

My fav for now is a new one that's hardly getting any attention even though she's the most asthetically pleasing of the bunch.

How's that for a long title?
