Here is my pick of this week.
This is my newest cel and of, none the less, Sesshoumaru. This was one of my wishlists that I wanted. Love the details in the work. Sesshoumaru fighting Inuyasha from episode 34 before Inuyasha learns how to use Kaze no Kizu (sp?).

Oh! I want to play again! :) Even though the last time I played I wrote that my pick was my pick for the year.

I admired this cel forever in another gallery. When I got the chance to buy it, I couldn't say sold fast enough. I love the scene. My heart just skips a beat during it. I love the main character. Um . . . yeah! :dlook :dgrin And I love the angle it's drawn at. (The camera's actually rotating during the scene.)
Can you hear this fangirl squee?!

That's just . . . creepy. I started reading the AnC manga, and his little obsession was creeping me out, though I don't ever remember this scene being in the manga! 8O Maybe I just didn't get far enough. :^^:

The angle is soooo cool, though! Kind of adds to the creepiness.

Okay. I'll never need another Vargas.

Pssht. It's my thread, so I make the rules. Mwahahaha!!!!

*ahem* Where was I? Oh, yes.

Don't worry about it. As long as it's artwork, it counts, and it's never too late to contribute to this thread. :)

Ok for this week I'll put up one of my newer cels that was part of a three way transaction.

Here is my CEL OF THE WEEK:

"The Screws" from Medabots. I wasn't planning to buy anything from this show, but when I saw it I had to have it!

Oooh, another thread I could spam LOL. :P

My favorite cel for this week would have to be this one: http://sme.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv_i ... mID=170495

It just reminds me so much of my sister, if you really want a comparison of my sister to Rei, they look almost exactly alike, even the bangs. 8O This cel cracks me up everytime I see it.

Nice cel SME! :)

My pick this time is one I just added to my gallery.

Moonlight Knight from Sailor Moon.

I always loved how ridiculous this character was and how he does not have manga origins.

pick of the week

Post by ginga123 »

what a delightful thread! :)

I really enjoy seeing everyone's picks of the week, month, or year^^.
Each one is very unique and stellar to look at. :)

This latest piece of mine is not only pick of the month; but, it could be 1 of 4 highlights for me this year. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do. She's so hard to come by and I practically stole her thanks to a friend^^.

This one made it into my most viewed cels so fast that it is amazing. And I still love looking at it myself :D

Under the category of cels that ought to be seen more often (only 20 hits so far, including my own visits to check on the html formatting):

http://sensei.rubberslug.com/gallery/in ... mID=171079

From one of the best moments of Nakamura's flawed but important anime movie A Tree of Palme (a dark Pinocchio story transferred to the Dune universe, where becoming a real little boy means learning to lie, hurt, and even kill other humans).

Popo takes the side of the android Palme against the warrior Shatta, who has his sword drawn to stop him from destroying the world with his mission to the underworld. "Go ahead and cut us down, if you like," she tells him; then she takes Palme's hand and calmly walks him past the astonished warrior.

Shivers run up and down Sensei's back.
